At FSM, we are looking forward to worship in the month of June.
This week we are making plans, preparing, and praying for a safe time together. Please take some time to familiarize yourself and your family with what returning to the building beginning June 7th.
The following guidelines are subject to change and will be modified if needed.
While worshipping at Fresh Start all attendees are invited to:
Practice Social Distancing
Attendees seated every other row.
Auditorium filled at 50% capacity.
Kids and teenagers sit with their families.
Nursery available upon request for infants and parent.
No dismissal for kids programming at this time.
Touchless Worship Experience
No-Contact greetings suggested (wave only).
Handouts, communion, and coffee will not be available during this time.
Give online or via envelopes in newly designated boxes at the rear of the sanctuary.
Masks are welcome, not required.
Hand sanitizing stations are located in the rear of the sanctuary and at the entrances of the building.
People who are high-risk, unwell, or choose not to gather in the building are encouraged to join us online @ 10:30 via Facebook livestream. It’s imperative for the safety of everyone to stay home if you have symptoms of fever, cough, or short of breath. Parking lot participation is also welcome.
C930 will continue to meet via online formats for this season.
RE-OPENING SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
ENTRY AND WELCOME
Doors (northside and eastside) will be propped open beginning at 10:20 am on Sunday mornings when weather is appropriate (Door attendant present if not).
We encourage waves and no handshake at this time.
Upon entering the building, please use only the main floor (sanctuary floor).
Furniture has been reorganized to accommodate social distancing seating.
Coffee and refreshments are not available at this time.
Hand sanitizer will be readily available throughout the building.
We will not pass out any bulletins.
All furniture and surfaces will be cleaned between services.
Ushers will meet family units at the sanctuary doors and seat them from the front to the back.
Families will be seated every-other row for services.
Families/household units will be seated together with spacing in between each household.
Entering and exiting of those seated will be done by an usher.
We will run the air conditioning and fans to bring in fresh air, and possibly leave sanctuary doors open.
Dismissal will be handled like a wedding to minimize people passing each other in the isle/seat area.
ORDER OF SERVICE
Our service will begin promptly at 10:30.
Offering can be given online or before/after service in designated boxes.
Children will remain in sanctuary for all of the service.
Nursery will be available with social distancing guidelines expected.
CLEANING IN BETWEEN SERVICES AND MISCELLANEOUS
All hard surfaces, pews, door handles, bathrooms, water fountain, etc will be cleaned during the week between services.
Bathrooms – entry doors will be propped open.
